ABOUT US

BH Deck Dudes is a veteran-owned company built on discipline, accountability, and respect for structure.
Years of hands-on construction experience—shaped by military values—have formed how we approach our work. We believe quality should be evident without explanation, and standards should be upheld whether someone is watching or not.
Every deck we build or refinish is treated as a structural system first—designed to meet code, perform reliably, and age properly. Materials are selected with purpose. Details are executed cleanly. Shortcuts are avoided entirely.
The result is work that feels right when it’s finished—and continues to feel right years later
THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE CRAFT

WHAT DEFINES OUR STANDARD
We don’t operate on volume or speed. We operate on consistency, preparation, and follow-through.
These principles are not situational. They apply to every project, regardless of size or material tier.
Our standard is defined by
Code-compliant construction
Materials chosen for long-term performance
Clearly defined scope and documentation
Clean execution without compromise
DISCIPLINE IN THE DETAILS
Military service teaches that systems matter, preparation matters, and small oversights compound into real problems. That mindset carries directly into our work. We plan thoroughly, execute deliberately, and finish cleanly. The details that aren’t immediately visible—structure, connections, load paths—are given the same attention as the details that are. That discipline is what allows our work to last.
DESIGNED TO BELONG
A well-built deck should feel like a natural extension of the home—not an addition competing for attention.
We focus on proportion, alignment, and restraint so the finished space integrates seamlessly with the architecture. Whether working in cedar, composite, or custom hardwoods, the goal is the same: a deck that belongs.

BUILT AHEAD OF THE HOME
In many cases, our work exceeds the current condition of the home. That is intentional.
A properly built deck should not be limited by outdated finishes or exterior details. It should be
constructed to last through the home’s next improvements—not replaced because of them.
Our clients value safety, longevity, and thoughtful construction. They understand that real quality
is found in preparation, structure, and details that aren’t always visible—but always matter. If you’re looking for the cheapest option, we won’t be the right fit. If you’re looking for work done with discipline and intention, we likely are.
